Dear TGA Member,
On July 18, 2013, we mailed the June 2013 Texas Bred Awards, but later realized those checks were printed in error, adding $10.70 to each of your wins. In order to get the money back and reconcile the Owner Awards account, we had to take $10.70 X the number of your wins for June and deducted it from your August total.
The TGA staff worked diligently to make sure everything was balanced and everyone got paid what was owed to them, less the reimbursement, then 65 checks had to carefully be hand typed. If you had August wins, your check along with a letter explaining the formula used to reimburse the the Owner Award account, was sent to you Friday; September 27, 2013. If you had wins in June but no wins in August, we still need to collect for the overpayment in June.
