Jeanette Dolle Dietz, age 73 of Seguin passed away on January 30, 2015. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at Tres Hewell Mortuary from 5 to 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Emanuel’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Jim Price and Rev. Paul J. Zwarich officiating. Interment will follow in Eden Cemetery.
Jeanette was born on October 28, 1941 in Guadalupe County to Leroy and Linda (Illhardt) Dolle. She was a graduate of Seguin High School and attended Austin Business College. She enjoyed bird watching, her fish and reading. Jeanette also enjoyed sewing and quilting. She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Herman Dolle and her nephew Harry Gene Dietz, Jr. Survivors include her loving husband of 46 years, James “Tuddy” Dietz; daughter, Jami Dietz-Carley and husband Spencer; grandchildren whom she loved dearly, Ashlee Carley, Kahlan “Kay Kay” Dietz and Adric Dietz; daughter-in-law, Elisabeth Noelke; brother, Stanley Dolle and wife Anne; brother-in-law, Harry Dietz and wife Linda; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family members and many friends. Serving as pallbearers will be Alan Bode, Steve Koehler, Greg Koehler, Chris Ayotte, Dr. Scott Bugai, Chris Lange, Donnie Henk and Ross Roessing. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Debbie Bode, Donnie and Kathy Brady, Alan and Janice Dreibrodt, Curt and Julie Lind, William and Sally Maierhofer, Lilo Mondin, Margaret Taylor, Willie Spreen, Dr. Richard Nelson, Dr. James Rider and Dr. David Rider. The family would like to thank the staff of the Advanced Home Health Care, the staff of Guadalupe Regional Medical Center Intensive Care Unit and the staff of the Warm Springs Specialty Hospital of Luling for their loving care of Jeanette.
