A tribute to Homer Joe Sparkman from David Peck:

Homer Joe was a life time member of the NGA and TGA. He loved the greyhounds and still talked about them long after he could no longer be involved in raising them.

Homer Joe was a tough competitor at the TGA and NGA meets. He helped Janele and I get started by leasing brood females and splitting litters. Some of our best blood lines are out of his broods.

We value most of all the great memories and funny stories of traveling with Homer Joe and his wife Johnny. His laughter and sense of humor was truly contagious. We always looked forward to going to the tracks with them.

Homer Joe was a great supporter of mine and a very great friend. He will be surely missed – Rest In Pease my friend.
